countgram (the "Service") is operated by TODO: Karakuri Works 株式会社("we", "our", "us"). This policy describes how we handle information collected from shop owners and end-users of storefront displays.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address and hashed password used to sign in.
- Instagram account metadata: the Instagram user ID, username, and follower count of Business/Creator accounts you connect via the Meta Graph API. We also store the long-lived access token required to poll follower counts.
- Follower count time series: periodic snapshots of follower counts for accounts you connect. Used for analytics shown only to you.
- Display configuration: theme preferences and the display token used by storefront web pages.
- Subscription records: if you subscribe through Apple, we store the Apple original transaction ID, product ID, and status returned by Apple's receipt verification. We do not store payment card details.
2. How we use information
- To authenticate you and authorize access to your own data.
- To poll Instagram follower counts for accounts you have connected, and to render these on your storefront display.
- To process and verify subscriptions.
- To respond to deletion and access requests.
3. Third-party services
- Meta / Instagram Graph API: we request only the
instagram_business_basicpermission. - Apple App Store Connect: receipt verification for subscriptions.
- Xserver Inc.: our hosting provider in Japan. Data is stored on Xserver's infrastructure.
4. Data retention and deletion
You may delete your account from the mobile app Settings screen at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes all data associated with it, including connected Instagram accounts, follower history, and display configurations.
Meta's user-data-deletion callback is also supported at /api/meta/data-deletion.php.
5. Security
Access tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the storefront display or other clients. Session tokens are hashed with SHA-256 before storage. All HTTP traffic is served over HTTPS.
